I booked my flight to Nicaragua today. I am very excited to start advanced language training and so thankful to Rotary International, as well as the New Bern Breakfast Rotary. I am looking forward to learning more Spanish so that I can better serve the Latino population of NC. I will be posting pictures and updates of my travels as I am able to do so. Although I have been to Nicaragua on medical missions, I have only visited the capital city of Managua and a small city that borders Honduras; Somotillo.
